When I try to sign in to view a sourcing event, I get the following error message:
Account already registered with given buyer. Use another account to complete registration or create a new account.
There could be one user or more supplier organizations created in your (buyer) realm. One is already linked with a supplier Business Network account (ANID linked to their supplier organization). The other could be without any ANID (Business Network account) linked.
When you send an invite for a questionnaire to the account without ANID, then your supplier will need to connect the account with ANID by logging into their ANID by creating a new user
When the supplier with the invite has another ANID different from the one the organization already has with the buyer, supplier needs to create a new user account
There will be two or more users with the same email address in your (buyer) realm, of which one is registered with this SAP Business Network account with your (buyer) organization and the other is not yet registered. therefore, supplier needs to create a new user account or ask the Buyer to extend the invitation to the user account that is already registered.
If you wish to identify which account (ANID) is connected with the inviting customer's system please contact the customer's representative who sent you the invitation. The customer will be able to provide the details of your company's accounts that are connected in their system.
Once the connected account has been identified you can review whether you have a separate User ID that already belongs to the connected ANID, and which you could use to connect with the customer. Alternatively you could contact the administrator of the connected account and ask them to add you as a new sub-user or if the supplier has the invitation email, can create a new user account from the link "click here"
If you do not have a User ID associated with the connected ANID, or if you receive new account credentials from the administrator of the connected ANID, please follow these steps to create a new account and access the customer's event or questionnaire:
With multiple usernames, a simple way to ensure you can easily access each will be to link your user IDs.
If you are still having issues accessing the event, see How do I contact Business Network Customer Support as a supplier?
