Why did I receive more than one invoice during the same quarter?
The Ariba Network's billing system is migrating to a new engine. During the migration, you may receive more then one invoice (Some from the new system and others from the older), depending on the Master Anniversary and Relationship Anniversary dates of your account/ buyer relationships.
You can see subscription invoices on your account using the steps below:
- Click [your initials] in the upper-right corner of the application.
- Click Service Subscriptions.
- Click My Subscriptions > Open Bills to see any invoices from our new billing engine.
- Click Remaining Billing to view invoices generated by the old system.

Here is additional information about the dates that can affect if you will see 2 invoices on your account:
- MAD(Master Anniversary Date)- The date an account as a whole first becomes billable in Ariba. Your account becomes chargeable after you transact 5 documents (orders and invoices) & $50,000 with any customer. Once you pass both of these thresholds, your account will be placed into a subscription package, and you will start to receive quarterly invoices.
All relationships on the account when it first becomes billable will have the same MAD and RAD.
- RAD(Relationship Anniversary Date)- This is the date that is used as the start of billing year for a specific relationships. This is determined to be the next billing date after a Trading relationship is accepted on an account.
