While creating Request for Quotation(RFQ) in ERP I am getting below error message:

SAP Business Network Response is: "Expectation Failure" and Error Code: "417" and Error Code Response: "Error: There is no RFQ with Request ID XXXXXXXXX Please contact support with the Error Reference Number: ANERR-XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX for more details. Suggested Action : Document Failed in SAP Business Network. For further assistance, please contact SAP Support with the code mentioned in Response.CIG Support Error Code: CIG-PLT-00644

You are sending an update RFQ to SAP Business Network where the same was not created yet, a creation payload needs be sent prior to an update payload. The very first RFQ message can be triggered in ERP side on the output messages to resolve the issue.

You can tell which message is by checking the payload section QuoteRequestHeader type.

The most usual cause of this issue is that during creation the payload failed in Managed Gateway for Spend&Network, so ERP is sending update payloads and the RFQ does not exist in Ariba side.

You can try to re-process the creation payload in Managed Gateway for Spend&Network for the respective QuoteRequest. To resend the RFQ document,

1. Go to ME42.
2. Select the RFQ ID
3. Click Header > Messages
4. Select the output and Click "Repeat Output" for the original/initial message that was created
