When logging in from the buyer invitation, I get the message: The account is already registered with the specified buyer. Please use another account to complete registration or create a new account.

This message appears when your user is already linked in your buyer's system and you have been assigned a new user to whom the questionnaire or event has been assigned.

In order to solve your problem, you have two options:

1. Ask your buyer to assign this questionnaire or event to the public user.
2. In case your buyer does not assign the event or questionnaire to the user already linked, you must create a new account from the registration invitation sent by your buyer.

To create a new account you must do the following:

1. Close your Ariba session by clicking on your initials at the top right of the screen and then log out.
2. In the invitation email you will find an option that says Click here.
3. A welcome screen will open, check the option Create a new account.
4. Complete the registration form.
5. In the email section you will see the option Use email as username, remove the check mark and change the username to differ from your existing username. For example, you can add the number 1 to your email address to create an alternate username: youremail1@email.com
6. When you finish the registration, a message will appear indicating that there are registration matches, select the Skip review option.

Once the steps above are complete, you will be able to enter the account to access the desired questionnaire or event.
