Why can't I confirm a purchase order?
Symptom

Why can't I create an order confirmation?


Resolution

If you are unable to confirm an order:

  1. Check your customer's transaction rules. There could be a rule set that is preventing the creation of order confirmations. If that is the case, you will have to contact your customer.
  2. Review the control keys for each line item on the PO to ensure that they are set to allowed. If they are not, contact your customer and request that they update the control keys to allow order confirmations and resend the PO.

Keep in mind that confirmation control keys take precedence over transaction rules, so it is possible that your transaction rules allow the creation of POs but the control keys do not.
