How do I create credit memo for standard purchase order / service purchase order ?

Answer

Before you create credit memo, please make sure you received Return to Vendor (RTV) from SATS

  1. Log in to your account and go to the Workbench tab at the top of the page.
  2. Select the appropriate tile (eg. Orders).
  3. Click the PO number to open the order.
  4. Click the Invoice# on the Related Documents section. Document type is Invoice
  5. Click Create Line-Item Credit Memo on invoice screen
  6. Enter Credit Memo #
  7. Enter Reason for Credit Memo in Comment section (Mandatory)
  8. Update Quantity (Negative value) if making a partial credit; otherwise leave as is. 
  9. Click Next
  10. Review the information you entered and click Submit
Additional Information

If you receive Return to Vendor (RTV) on standard purchase order from SATS, you must send Line Item Credit Memo
Do not use Credit Memo option in purchase order screen.
