How to award an RFP without items in Guided Sourcing?

To be able to award an RFP without items, the event must not be competitive.

A competitive event is defined on What makes an event competitive?. To be non-competitive, the event must have below rules setup:

• Must participants improve their bids = No
• Can participants submit tie bids = Allow tie bids for all ranks
• Can participants see ranks = No
• Show participant responses to other participants = No

After you have event published, suppliers responded and event is on Pending Selection/Review Responses status, follow the steps below to award the event:

1. Access the event in Review Responses status
2. Go to Manual scenario award allocation section
3. On the header, click on the ... icon next to the supplier that you want to award
4. Click on Allocate to this supplier
5. On the pop up, select the amount you want to allocate to this supplier and click Allocate
6. On section Award scenarios, click on Award
7. On pop up, select if you want to notify suppliers and click Confirm
8. Your event is now awarded and status changed to Completed

If you are unable to award the event, the issue may be related to Why am I seeing the alert message The scenario you selected does not contain suppliers or line items. Update the scenario with suppliers and line items and try again when clicking on Submit for award approval button?
