Symptom

Why am I seeing the alert message The scenario you selected does not contain suppliers or line items. Update the scenario with suppliers and line items and try again when clicking on Submit for award approval button?


Cause

You probably missed entering the award allocation value for the supplier, or you might have entered the value but failed to click on Save allocations button after entering the value.


Resolution

Here are the steps you need to follow in order to resolve this issue.

  1. Navigate to the event > Award scenarios > select the manual scenario.
  2. Scroll down to the Award allocation panel.
  3. Click the three dots in the line item and select Quantity or Percentage.
  4. Input the award allocation value for the supplier.
  5. Click Save allocations > Submit award for approval (or) Award.

As a result, you will no longer receive this alert message when submitting the award approval task.
