How can I "Act As" another user?

Resolution

For users under the Customer Administrator or Act As groups, there is a feature to act as another user, which can be used following the steps below:

  1. Ensure you are part of the Customer Administrator or Act As group;
  2. For non-integrated realms access Administration > User Manager > Users or for integrated realms access Core Administration > User Manager > Users;
  3. Search for the user
  4. Click Actions > Act As;

If you do not have the Act As group, note that to enable the Act As feature for PL-16983 which allows users outside of the Customer Administrator group to act-as other users please see: How to enable ActAs Feature (PL-16983)

This feature introduces a new group that gives its members the ability to act as other users. Previously, this ability was available only to members of the Customer Administrator group, which is the most powerful group available to customers. The new group allows customers to assign users to act as other users, without assigning all other administrator privileges associated with the Customer Administrator group. Please note that users assigned to this group can only act as users under User Manager > Users. For acting as supplier users within Supplier and Customer Manager, the user would need to have access to Supplier and Customer Manager.
