Symptom

When an order is sent to my integrated system, it fails with the following error(s):

Terminal error code for PO status: Error while opening connection to the server: java.util.concurrent.ExecutionException: java.net.ConnectException: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path validation failed: java.security.cert.CertPathValidatorException: validity check failed?

Resolution

You must contact your IT department to determine why your post URL is not accessible to receive transactions from SAP Business Network. You may need to add the Business Network IP addresses to your server's allow list.

Your integrated URL is not accessible to receive requests from SAP. If it is a one-time occurrence, this error can be due to a temporary connection issue with your URL. However, if this issue impacts multiple orders over a period of time, then this indicates there is an issue with your system's accessibility.
