When I try to delegate authority to someone, I get the error:

Plant is not acceptable

Plant is a required data and this message is seen when there's no Shipping Address defined for an user. The application does a validation called PurchaseOrgCombo at the source code, which checks if the plantID is valid. PlantID is the same as the ShipTo, and taking a look at the data dictionary, we can see that there are required fields for the plantID to work.

The solution for this case would be to check if all required field for Plants Data Export/Import do have a valid value.

1. Go to Manage > Core Administration
2. Click on Data Import/Export at the left menu.
3. Click on the Export tab
4. Search for the Plants Data task.
5. Click on Export button.

You can also update the information on Plants Data by selecting the Import tab.

In case the user does not have or will never have a Shipping Address you have two options:

1. Import a Plant with blank values and use it for these users.
2. Contact the SAP Services team to create a customization to make Plant not required.
