How do I contact the buyer about a Sourcing event or questionnaire that I am participating in?

There are two ways to send a message from a Sourcing event.

First option:

1. Access the event or questionnaire from the Ariba Proposals and Questionnaires page.
2. In the upper left corner, click Event Messages
3. Click Compose Message.
4. Enter your message and attach any files you need.
5. Click Send.

Second option:

1. Once in the Sourcing Event, locate the Checklist.
2. Click Submit Response > Compose Message.
3. Enter your message and attach any files you need.
4. Click Send.

The buyer must configure the event to allow messages between the buyer project team and event participants. If the buyer does not allow messages, it is not possible to compose new messages or reply to existing ones.
