Worker Security ID is wrong
Symptom

Cause

Some companies use a second authentication factor called a Security ID for worker reigstration. Security IDs are case sensitive and they can be entered incorrectly when they are created by the staffing agency

Resolution

If you are a worker having trouble with the Security ID, (including how to locate it), you must contact your Staffing Agency (the firm that recruited you to work on contract). They create this ID prior to your registration and can confirm what was entered. They can also correct it if a mistake was made.

If you are an administrator user in the staffing agency, confirm the security ID:

  1. Sign into SAP Fieldglass
  2. Locate and open the Work Order
  3. If not masked, the Security ID is visible on the Details tab
  4. If it is correct, help the worker try their registration again

Supplier administrator may re-enter the Security ID if needed:

  1. Locate the Work Order
  2. Click Actions > Edit Security Information
  3. If the new value you enter matches the current value, a message will state that the value was not changed. Help the worker try their registration again
  4. If the new value is an update to the Security ID contact the buyer Program Management Office to request the work order be reactivated. This will trigger a new registration invitation to the worker

If the action Edit Security Information does not appear to the staffing agency admin, contact the buyer Program Management Office (PMO)

PMO User can unlock Security Id:

  1. Open the Work Order record
  2. Click Actions
  3. Click Unlock Security Information
  4. If PMO cannot unlock it, contact SAP Fieldglass Technical Support to request the security ID be invalidated.
  5. Then retry the steps above to unlock and update
