Offers the ability to, in a electronic signature task, choose and restrict users from changing the signature provider, and, if DocuSign is the e-signature provider, pre-select the use of particular electronic signature types (such as AES or QES).

This feature enables buyers to create hierarchy of line items in purchase contracts in SAP Ariba Contracts workspace and integrate them with SAP S/4HANA Cloud using SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway. This feature is supported by the scope item Contract Management with SAP Ariba Contracts (4AZ) for purchase contracts.

  Ability to upgrade templates in contract workspaces that contain assembled documents [SC-13300]
This feature enables buyers using SAP Ariba Contracts to perform template upgrades for contract workspaces that contain assembled documents. If the contract workspace for which you are upgrading the template contains assembled documents, during the template upgrade you receive a warning stating that the assembled documents, including finalized documents, in the contract workspace will be replaced with the latest version from the template. Only if you confirm the upgrade, the contract workspace and the assembled documents are upgraded to the new version of the template.

This feature allows template authors to lock the Access Control value they set for projects, preventing other users including project owners from changing it and giving unauthorized access to projects.

This feature enables buyers to add lean-service items to purchase contracts and central contracts in SAP Ariba Contracts workspaces and send them to SAP S/4HANA Cloud using SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway. The following scope items support this feature:
* Contract Management with SAP Ariba Contracts (4AZ) for purchase contracts
* Contract for Central Procurement with SAP Ariba Contracts (4B0) for central contracts

This feature enables the buyers on SAP Ariba Contracts using the Contract Management with SAP Ariba Contracts (4AZ) scope item or the Contract for Central Procurement with SAP Ariba Contracts (‏4B0‏) scope item to integrate custom fields in contract workspace to SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP S/4HANA Cloud using the custom mapping functionality of SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway.

  Ability to use advanced signature types in DocuSign [SC-13548]
This feature enables buyers to use the advanced signature types in the DocuSign application integrated with SAP Ariba Contracts. When buyers initiate a signature task for a document from SAP Ariba Contracts, buyers are redirected to the Edit Recipients view in DocuSign. The Edit Recipients view allows buyers to configure the signature type for individual recipients before submitting the document for eSignature. Buyers can select the advanced signature type and enter the authentication details in the Edit Recipients view.

  Enabling contract line item changes in imported legacy contracts to be updated in SAP ERP systems [SC-8895]
SAP Ariba Contracts supports the import of legacy contracts along with contract line items using a contract line items document. Previously, when changes were made to contract line items in the imported legacy contracts, there was no way to update the corresponding contract in SAP ERP systems. This feature introduces the ability to update such contracts in SAP ERP systems when changes are made to contract line items in the corresponding imported legacy contracts.

  Multi-factor authentication for user login to SAP Ariba solutions [SI-860]
Multi-factor authentication is a two-step verification process where users are required to authenticate themselves a second time using a time-based verification code. As compared to the single step authentication process, the multi-factor authentication process provides enhanced security.

  Support for displaying dForms in the SAP Ariba Procurement mobile app [BMA-1806]
With this feature, dForms in tasks can be displayed as PDF documents in the SAP Ariba Procurement mobile app. Links to the dForm documents are displayed in the Documents section of the task.

  SAP Ariba Procurement mobile app compliant with Chinese Cybersecurity Law (CCL) [BMA-2088]
This feature ensures that SAP Ariba Procurement mobile app is in compliance with the Chinese Cybersecurity Law (CCL). Users with accounts at the China data center must consent to the privacy policy related to the Chinese Cybersecurity Law (CCL) before they can start using the app.

  Disable SAP Ariba mobile app activation [BMA-2328]
With this feature, customer administrators can prevent users from activating the SAP Ariba mobile app by configuring their site so that the option to enter the activation code is not displayed in the 'Activate Mobile Device' page.

  Improved handling of attachments to approval e-mails from SAP Ariba Contracts and SAP Ariba Sourcing [SC-12239]
This feature enables SAP Ariba Contracts and SAP Ariba Sourcing to replace attachments in approval emails with links if the file size of the attachments exceeds the limit specified for the ICM parameter Application.ACM.FileSizeLimitForEmailAttachments. By default, this parameter is set to 15 MB; the maximum value supported for this parameter is 25 MB. Approvers can download the files by clicking the links provided in the approval email and entering their credentials.
