I have been locked out from Ariba Network due to the multifactor authentication. How can I login again?
Question

I have been locked out from Ariba Network for providing an incorrect multifactor authentication (MFA) passcode multiple times.

How can I re-gain access to my account? Can I have my account unlocked?

Answer

Contact your account administrator in Ariba Network. This person has the ability to unlock your account, so you can access Ariba Network again.

If you are a supplier user in Ariba Network, see How do I contact the account administrator for my company? for directions. If you are a buyer user, contact your internal team to learn who your account administrator is.

Additional Information

When multifactor authentication is enabled for an organization, users must install an authenticator application such as SAP Authenticator from iTunes (for iOS devices) or from Google Play (for Android devices) in their hand-held devices to generate a time-based verification code (also called time-based one-time password).

Note that only your account administrator can enable MFA for login in Ariba Network. You can learn more about MFA in Ariba Network in this feature's documentation in What's new in SAP Ariba 2102 (Q1 2021).
