Known Issue KB0405476
Error: “User locked due to invalid OPT entered more the allowed number of times. Try again later”
Symptom
When trying to access my account, I received the Multifactor Authenticator (MFA) error below:
Error: User locked due to invalid OPT entered more the allowed number of times. Try again later.
Cause
Incorrect MFA password was used multiple times.
Resolution
Only the account administrator can enable MFA for login in SAP Business Network.
If you are the account Administrator in SAP Business Network, contact SAP Business Network Customer Support to get help.
- Account Administrator for supplier accounts, refer to How do I contact SAP Business Network Customer Support as a supplier?
- Account Administrator for buyer accounts, please contact your internal Designated Support Contact (DSC) user for assistance in raising a ticket through SAP for Me.
If you are an account sub-user in SAP Business Network, contact your account administrator. The account administrator has the ability to unlock your account.
