I am getting the following error message when checking Transaction Tracker in SAP Integration Suite, managed gateway for spend management and SAP Business Network:
Transimission failed with the error FAILED while posting to customer ANXX - RealmName:XX target system with HTTP ResponseCode:401.. Suggested Action : Connectivity to target system failed. Common HTTP resonses and suggestive actions.500 (Internal Server Error)-> Check in the target system for exact nature of request failure.400-4XX (Authentication Issue)-> check target system provided valid authentication details.ErrorCode:CIG-PLT-04640.Please review the Support Note 189493(https://support.ariba.com/item/view/189493) for solution.
Managed Gateway for Spend&Network
The error "CIG-PLT-04640" happens when an error "400-4XX" is returned to Managed Gateway for Spend&Network from another application (404, 403, etc) usually caused by permission or authorization issue.
The error "CIG-PLT-04640" happens in different scenarios. Follow the KBAs below to correct the error:
- KBA KB0401550 - Error: "400-4XX -> Authentication Issue,Forbidden,Not Found -> check target system provided valid authentication details in Managed Gateway for Spend&Network"
- KBA KB0400688 - Error: "Document Failed during HTTP post for Customer AN01XXXXXXXXX-T - Realm Name with HTTP Response Code :400 and Response Message: FAILED."
