This feature allows guided buying users to create simple non-PO invoices from the guided buying UI. They don't need to navigate to SAP Ariba Buying and Invoicing to create non-PO invoices.     2002
  Quote expiration and reusability [GB-3441]
When suppliers submit quotes in response to guided buying RFQs, they can now specify dates when the quotes expire and indicate whether they can be used in multiple requests. New terms in the Guided Buying Quote template are available that allow suppliers to specify this information.
      2005
SAP Qualtrics survey for guided buying users [GB-3779]
Users can now help SAP Ariba improve guided buying. A new link allows them to go to an SAP Qualtrics survey immediately after submitting a request, where they can express their opinion on guided buying and offer suggestions. SAP Ariba gathers this information and uses it to plan future enhancements.
    2005
Audit log of administrative activities [GB-5196]
Every action made by administrative users in the guided buying Admin section is now logged by the new platform service.  Customers can write applications that download audit log entries on demand from the platform service using the Ariba Open API.
    2005
Sending requisition line-level attachments to SAP S/4HANA Cloud [GB-6241]
With this feature, line-level attachments on requisitions created in guided buying are sent to SAP S/4HANA Cloud. Attachments that are successfully transmitted are added to the corresponding requisition in SAP S/4HANA Cloud.
    2005
Better visibility of RFQs and sourcing requests [GB-6954]
RFQ forms and sourcing requests now graphically display their current state with a process diagram. An easy-to-understand process diagram shows the progress of RFQs at all stages.
    2005
Enhanced accessibility for catalog purchasing [GB-7991]
SAP Ariba has enhanced the accessibility of guided buying for catalog-based purchasing, with the goal of eventually reaching adherence with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).

Usability enhancements in Checkout, Non-PO invoice, and Composing pages [GB-8266]
The Checkout, Non-PO invoice, and Composing pages have been enhanced with new actions that allow better usability and avoid user confusion. There's a new Withdraw button, new request cancellation behavior, and a new confirmation dialog box. Together, these changes make it simpler for users to create and change requests and non-PO invoices.
    2005
Support for updating ERP vendor IDs through supplier data import [SM-17508]
This feature adds support for updating supplier ERP vendor IDs using the Suppliers data import task in SM Administration.
    see release guide 2005
Improved error messaging in guided buying [GB-4874]
Previously, when a system error occurred, guided buying displayed a red banner, a busy spinner, and a generic error message, but it didn't offer any guidance. Now, if a system error occurs, guided buying displays a dialog box containing a user-friendly error message and guidance, including user options. The details of the issue can be viewed and shared with administrators.
    see release guide  2008
View purchase orders within guided buying [GB-5119]
Previously, users could view POs only in SAP Ariba Procurement solutions, where order information was difficult to find; for example, confirmed quantity and estimated delivery date were buried in the PO and users had to scroll to see the status of their orders. Now, POs display in an easy-to-understand page within guided buying. Users can easily locate and track their orders from creation, to confirmation, to shipping, to receiving.
    see release guide 2008
Navigation and user interface consistency [GB-5210]
Guided buying has been enhanced with more consistent user interface text and other minor improvements. Users see more intuitive terminology, heading and button naming, and list behavior. These changes were suggested by customers for better usability and they align with SAP Fiori 3.0 design principles. They don't affect the functionality of guided buying.
    see release guide 2008
Adding quantity-based pricing in guided buying requests [GB-7217]
The requests created in guided buying support quantity-based pricing of items. Quantity-based pricing allows the unit price of an item to be based on a different price unit quantity than 1. Guided buying requests use the new price unit quantity field for enhanced pricing calculation in requests.
    2008
Standing orders in guided buying for SAP integrated sites [SINV-8450]
Buyers can create standing orders in guided buying for goods and services that correspond to the item category B in SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA. These goods and service items are procured without following the goods receipt and the service sheet processes. Standing orders are best suited for recurring requirements for low-value items and routine services without buyers having to create multiple orders for the same supplier. These orders are characterized by validity periods to define the effective dates of the procurement process and predefined amount limits to control item prices.
    2011
  Purchase on-behalf-of by plant [GB-3945]
This feature allows users to change the plant to a value other the default plant value (associated with the user profile) when making a purchase.  Users can set the on-behalf-of plant through the guided buying "Quick links" section.

Note: Available to new customers as of the 2011 Release.
    see release guide 2011
Initiate procurement workspace projects from guided buying [GB-5122]
Guided buying now supports interaction with procurement workspace projects, which help your organization manage complex procurement scenarios that involve multiple stakeholders and regions over a period of time. Users assign requests and non-PO invoices to procurement workspace projects so they can be managed in terms of your organization's processes.
    2011
Search results all on one page [GB-6168]
Guided buying now provides an even better searching experience by displaying search results on a single page. It divides returned results into separate carousels for each buying channel, such as catalog items, spot buy items, and forms. This improvement enables users to more easily understand what is returned from searching, and they don't have to go to another page to see items from other categories.
    2011
  Support for multiple-line RFQs [GB-7383]
Previously, guided buying users could add only one line item on RFQ forms. If they needed quotes for multiple types of goods or services they had to fill out multiple forms, which was cumbersome for large projects. Now, forms designers can design RFQ forms that accept multiple line items. Users add up to 10 line items and guided buying creates one RFQ event for those items.
    see release guide 2011
Improved accessibility for catalog purchasing [GB-7601]
SAP Ariba has continued enhancing the accessibility of guided buying for catalog-based purchasing, with the goal of eventually reaching adherence with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). Guided buying now meets WCAG level AA accessibility requirements on the pages that are widely used for catalog purchases.
