Why my custom fields are not available in SAP Integration Suite, Managed Gateway for Spend Management and SAP Business Network Mapping Tool?

The SAP Integration Suite, Managed Gateway for Spend Management and SAP Business Network has a static schema, this means that the only custom types that can be mapped in the mapping tool are below:

• CustomBoolean
• CustomDate
• CustomInteger
• CustomMoney
• CustomString

The SAP Integration Suite, Managed Gateway for Spend Management and SAP Business Network does not support custom types and the schema will not be updated for those since the schema is the same for all customers.

The correct structure for custom fields is type, followed by field name and with the respective value, for example: <CustomString name="firstName">nameValue</CustomString>

If you are sending some field as CustomAddressCode or CustomTaxCode for example, it is not possible to add in Managed Gateway for Spend&Network Mapping Tool schema. It needs to be mapped as CustomInteger, in case the value comes as a number or CustomString if the value comes as a string and the field identifier will be set in the name condition, for example:

• <CustomInteger name="taxcode">
• <CustomInteger name="VendorAddressCode">
• <CustomString name="catalogType">
• <CustomString name="Country">
