Why can I not locate a supplier to invite to my event?
Symptom

Why can I not find a specific supplier to invite to my event?


Resolution

You may be unable to locate a supplier to invite for one of two reasons. Either the organization profile for the supplier is deactivated or the supplier user is in an Unapproved status. For steps related to the first option, please see how do I reactivate an organization profile?

If you determine that you simply need to approve the user, follow the steps below:

  1. Click Manage > Administration
  2. Select Supplier and Customer Manager > Users
  3. Search for the user using any of the available filters.
  4. Select the user and click Actions > Approve

You should now be able to see the user in the results list when searching in an event.

If you cannot find the supplier user to approve it, this user/contact may not exist. We invite users, not organizations to sourcing events, so please make sure there is at least one user under the organization you'd like to invite to your event.
