Can I use Desktop File Sync (DFS) with Microsoft Edge?

A Microsoft ActiveX control is required for Desktop File Sync (DFS). The only browser that supports ActiveX which is also supported by Ariba is Microsoft's Internet Explorer version 11, 32 bit.

No other browser supports ActiveX including Microsoft Edge. Therefore Microsoft Edge will never be compatible with Desktop File Sync.
