What is the event content limit for standard events and large-capacity events?

Ariba Sourcing has limits for the number of content items. Validation of these limits occurs when you create and publish an event, import content from Microsoft Excel, add to the content, or view the Summary page. If you attempt to add more than the content limit, Ariba Sourcing displays an error message.

The following table describes the event content limits in standard events and large-capacity events.

• For serial and staggered competitive events the maximum number of items in item lots or bundle lots is 100.

The top-level items are all items that are not inside a lot.

For instance, lets say you have the following scenarios:

1. 2 lots with 5 items each inside.
2. 2 lots without items inside.
3. 2 items outside a lot.
4. 2 items inside 1 section.

For all of the above scenarios, the top-level count is 2.

In addition, the sum of all lots and line items refers to any type of lots or line items that are inside or outside lots.
