What makes an event competitive?

Events become competitive when the request for proposal (RFP) or auction template requires one of the following:

When you disable the rule that requires participants to improve their bids, the event becomes non-competitive and three additional bidding rules disappear

    • Percentage (choose this when supplier pricing is high)
    • Nominal Amount (choose this when values are low)
  • Can participants submit tie bids
    • No tie bids
    • No tie bids for rank 1
    • No tie bids for rank 2 or better
    • No tie bids for rank 3 or better

    • Their own rank
    • Their own rank when leading
    • All participants ranks
  • Show participant responses to other participants - After participant's first response is accepted
