How do I make sure my trusted sites and ActiveX settings allow for exporting reports?

In your Microsoft Internet Explorer browser:

1. Click Tools > Internet Options.
2. Access the Security tab.
3. Verify that you add all Ariba sites to the list trusted sites.
4. Uncheck the box next to Enable Protected Mode.
5. Click the Custom Level... button for the highlighted Web content zone.
6. Under the ActiveX controls and plug-ins section:
   • Select: Enable or Prompt for Download signed ActiveX controls.
   • Select: Enable or Prompt for Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins.
7. Click OK to dismiss the Security Settings panel.
8. Click OK to save your changes.
9. When a security warning asks you to install and run the Ariba Client Automation ActiveX Control, click Yes.

After you take these steps, restart your browser, and try to export the report again.
