How do I set/update shared secret for cXML Integration on SAP Business Network as Buyer?

To set/update your shared secret:

If you have standard cXML integration:

1. From the home page, click [user initials] in the upper right corner, choose Manage Profile
2. Click cXML Setup
3. Under Authentication Method > Shared Secret
4. Enter your desired shared secret value in the New Shared Secret and Confirm Shared Secret fields
   If you are editing the Shared Secret you will need to enter the Current Shared Secret before updating to the New Shared Secret
5. Click Save.

If you have End Point feature enabled:

1. From the home page, click [user initials] in the upper right corner, choose Manage Profile
2. Click Business End Points (cXML and OData Setup)
3. Select the End Point and click Edit
4. Under Authentication Method > Shared Secret
5. Enter your desired shared secret value in the New Shared Secret and Confirm Shared Secret fields
   If you are editing the Shared Secret you will need to enter the Current Shared Secret before updating to the New Shared Secret
6. Click Save.

If you have Multi ERP feature enabled

1. From the home page, click [user initials] in the upper right corner, choose Manage Profile
2. Click Business Application IDs and End Points (cXML and OData Setup)
3. Open the System ID
4. Select the End Point and click Edit
5. Under Authentication Method > Shared Secret
6. Enter your desired shared secret value in the New Shared Secret and Confirm Shared Secret fields
   If you are editing the Shared Secret you will need to enter the Current Shared Secret before updating to the New Shared Secret
7. Click Save.

Notes:

1. Setting the shared secret on your production account does not set the shared secret for your test account. Repeat these same steps in your test account
2. If you don't remember your Current Shared Secret and wants to reset the same please contact SAP Support.
