How to receive the access to SAP Ariba Category Management Application
I am a Partner and acquired a Test and Demo License, but did not receive the access links to my SAP Ariba Category Management application.

- SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
- Identity Authentication Service (IAS)
- Identity Provisioning Service (IPS)
- Partner acquires a Test and Demo License for SAP Ariba Category Management.
- Partner wait for access information, including links and user credentials.
- Partner does not receive any information regarding access to the environment.
The access information for the environment was not sent to the partner after acquiring the Test and Demo License.
To access the environment and complete the setup of SAP Ariba Category Management, please follow the steps described in the SAP Ariba Category Management Configuration Guide. Please kindly note the relevant sections from the guide as follows:
1) SAP Ariba Category Management Configuration Guide
- This guide provides IT or System Administrators with the necessary information to set up and run SAP Ariba Category Management.
- Includes details on technical onboarding, user management, and configuration.
- Essential for those configuring SAP Ariba Category Management to work with Procurement Data Warehouse, SAP Master Data Integration service, Identity Authentication Service, Identity Provisioning Service, Intelligent Opportunity Analyzer, and SAP Ariba Sourcing.
2) SAP Ariba Category Management Configuration - Prerequisites
- Lists the prerequisites for setting up SAP Ariba Category Management in the SAP Business Technology Platform(BTP) cockpit.
- Ensure you have a license for SAP Ariba Category Management and have set up a global account with SAP BTP.
- You will need to configure two SAP BTP subaccounts (one for testing and one for production), set up Identity Authentication service tenants, establish OpenID Connect trust, and enable Cloud Foundry on your SAP BTP subaccounts.
