I need to create a third-party user in Ariba.

You can create a Third-Party user through the user interface or by using the data import task.

To create a user from the user interface:

1. Sign into your realm.
2. Click Manage > Core Administration.
3. Click User Manager > Users.
4. Click the Create User button.
5. Fill in the required information, set the Type to Third-Party Enterprise User (Ariba), and save.

To create a user through data import:

1. Go to Site Manager > Data Import/Export and export the user file.
2. In the exported file, add the new user and set the PasswordAdapter field to ThirdPartyUser.
3. Import the updated file in the Data Import tab.
