Why can't I select an SM modular questionnaire although the template is published and active?
Symptom

SM Modular Questionnaire not available for selection while sending the MQ under Manage > SM Modular Questionnaires


Resolution

The SM Modular Questionnaire does not appear for selection when the Questionnaire Type is Internal. As SM Modular Questionnaire are sent to suppliers, the Questionnaire Type must be External.

Follow below steps as a user with Template Creator permission to edit the template-

  1. Manage > Templates > Open your SM Modular Questionnaire template.
  2. Actions > Create New Version.
  3. Go to Documents tab and Edit the Questionnaire.

Now, edit the questionnaire type setting as below-

  1. Under Rules, scroll down to Supplier Management section.
  2. Update Specify Questionnaire Type? to External.
  3. Click Exit and Return to Project.
  4. Actions > Publish.
