Since synchronous payloads are not available to download in the SAP Integration Suite, managed gateway for spend management and SAP Business Network transaction tracker, how can I capture a payload from a synchronous message destined to ERP in my Managed Gateway for Spend&Network integration?

In order to do this procedure, you will need to have access the target ERP system.

1. Go into transaction SRT_UTIL;
2. Click into the Traces () button;

Here you can choose to filter the transactions that are being received by User Name?or by Request URI.?Terminal ID will not be covered since it is not used in a regular basis.

• By choosing User Name, you will filter only the transactions sent by the defined user, in this context, you will need to log the same user you have configured for your Managed Gateway for Spend&Network Project.?
• By choosing Request URI, you can filter the messages by their Service Path maintained in transaction SICF. (Ex: Purchase Order = /sap/bc/srt/xip/arba/purchaseorderexportrequest/[Client Number]).

1. After choosing the filtering method, you can click in the OK () button.
2. Then select Payload Trace > Active.?
3. Then click into Save Configuration.
4. Without closing this screen, you can go into your Ariba system and Submit the message in order to capture the payload.
5. Click in the Payload Trace?tab and double click in the received message.
6. In this new screen you will see the stages of processing for the particular message. You can double click in one of the stages and then click in Original XML () in order to review the payload.
   

After capturing all the needed information, it is recommended that you go back to the initial screen of the SRT_UTIL transaction and select Payload Trace > Inactive?and?Save Configuration.
