When trying to send an outbound message from your SAP ERP system to the Managed Gateway for Spend&Network, the message fails in SRT_MONI with the following error:
SRT: Unsupported xstream found: ("HTTP Code 401 : Unauthorized").
Possible causes:
- Incorrect Data Center specified during SAP Ariba Interface Setup Program.
- If you are using basic authentication as authentication method in the SAP Ariba Interface Setup Program: Invalid P-user credentials provided in the interface;
- If you are using certificate-based authentication as authentication method in the SAP Ariba Interface Setup Program: SSL Client Identity selected does not contain a Client Certificate with a trusted CA (Certificate Authority) and/or a Client Authentication EKU (Extended/Enhanced Key Usage).
- Make sure to select the correct Managed Gateway for Spend&Network data center while running the SAP Ariba Interface Setup Program.
- If you are using basic authentication: rerun the SAP Ariba Interface Setup Program keeping the P-user and Password details matching with Managed Gateway for Spend&Network portal > My Configurations > Authorization;
- If you are using certificate-based authentication: Ensure you have imported in the transaction STRUST the same Client Certificate you have in Managed Gateway for Spend&Network portal > My Configurations > Projects > Connection > Outbound from Trading Partner. Additionally, ensure:
- The certificate has a trusted CA according to the Trusted CA List: SAP Help Portal > Home > SAP Integration Suite, Managed Gateway for Spend Management and SAP Business Network > SAP Integration Suite, Managed Gateway for Spend Management and SAP Business Network How to Guide for Suppliers > Getting Started > Trusted certificate authorities;
- The certificate has Client Authentication EKU, which can be verified by opening the certificate and checking the Details tab.
