How can a Customer Administrator change a parameter in a site?


Resolution

Parameters can be changed through the Intelligent Configuration Manager (ICM) by the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Administration(Sourcing) or Core Administration(Buyer)
  2. Click Intelligent Configuration Manager
  3. Click Manage Configurations
  4. Click Buying and Invoicing (Buyer) OR Sourcing and Contracts (Sourcing)
    • Note, ICM is not suite integrated. Unique parameter sets are found on each side of the suite integration.
  5. Click Parameters

For FPC environments, parameters should be changed from the parent level. The change will replicate to the child and testing can be carried out in the child.

  1. Search for the parameter to be changed
  2. Adjust the value
  3. Click Add to package
  4. Name the package
  5. Click Submit package

The parameter changed is now ready for testing and will replicate to child if applicable.
