There are multiple supplier User IDs for the same supplier, how can I make sure I am inviting the correct supplier User ID to an event?

Answer

If the supplier's account is already connected to the buyer, check the supplier User ID make to see that its Status is Public:

  1. Click Manage > Administration
  2. Click Supplier and Customer Manager, select Users
  3. Search the supplier's email in the Business Email Address field
  4. Look for the User ID with the status Public (This means a supplier account is connected to the User ID)

Once you have found the User ID for the supplier that is Public, copy the User ID then go back to the event:

  1. Click Actions > Edit
  2. Click Suppliers > Invite Another Participant
  3. If there are Search Filters click - on the right side of the search filters to remove all search filters
  4. Click the Table icon
  5. Click More...
  6. Check the box User Unique Name > Click OK

Now you will be able to see the supplier's User ID in the User Unique Name field

  1. Search using the supplier's email address. Make sure that the User Unique Name matches the User ID from the Supplier and Customer Manager
  2. Check the box > Click OK
  3. Go to Summary > Update
