I created a Purchase Order (PO) and the supplier sent an Order Confirmation (OC) to reject/confirm the PO.

In the email notification it showed that there is a comment from the supplier, but while opening the PO in SAP Ariba Buying I wasn't able to find the same comment.

Is it possible to display those comments on SAP Ariba Buying?

The comment was added on the header level, so it was shown in the email notification. Header level comments made on the OC will not be available on SAP Ariba Buying purchase orders.

To view the comments coming from suppliers, you will need to request your supplier to add the comments on the line level while creating the OC.

Comments on the OC line level will be visible when clicking on the details of the line item on SAP Ariba Buying, under the Fulfillment - by Line Item section.

In case the Requester and the Preparer are different people, and only one of them receives the email notification, the other won't be able to view the comment. Adding the comment on the line will help in this case.

If the PO is rejected, it would help to know why, so adding comments on the line items would help in correcting the PO.

If needed, rejected reason can be made mandatory by using the following transaction rules in SAP Business Network:

• Require suppliers to provide a reason when they reject an order at the line-item level
• Require suppliers to provide a reason when they reject an order
