Product questionnaires enable buyers to collect detailed specifications for items that they are sourcing. With this feature, product questionnaires, including supplier answers to questions, can now be added at item level in the configurable bid comparison report in SAP Ariba Sourcing.

Buyers use the bid comparison report to analyze the supplier bids offline by utilizing MS Excel capabilities. However, the report did not provide access to detailed item specifications from the product questionnaire, making difficult and time consuming to consider that part of the supplier responses into the analysis of the offers.

Now, customers can leverage the bid comparison report as the primary report to compare the sourcing event content, including all item-related supplier responses close to each other in a fast and easy manner.
