The qualification status of a supplier is Qualified for Some. What does that mean?
Question

The Qualification Status of a supplier is Qualified for Some. What does that mean?

Answer

The status Qualified for Some will occur whenever you have different qualification statuses for a supplier. At least one of them is no longer Qualified. It can also be Expired, Disqualified, Pending Approval and Rejected.

Let's consider the following hypothetic scenario: Supplier1 and Supplier2.

Supplier1 has two qualifications:
- Q1: Region = USA, Commodity = 0102, status is Qualified;
- Q2: Region = CAN, Commodity = 0202, status is Qualified;

Supplier2 also has two qualifications:
- Q1: Region = GB, Commodity = 040120, status is Qualified;
- Q2: Region = BR, Commodity = 0102, status is Expired;

If you browse to Supplier1 profile, the Qualification Status for it will be Qualified. The status occur when all its qualifications are active.

And, if you browse to Supplier2, the Qualification Status for it will be Qualified for Some. This is because at least one of its qualifications is no longer active.

Important to note that, this is never a final status. If you go ahead and re-qualify the Q2 from Supplier2, the Qualification Status will also change back from Qualified for Some to Qualified again.
