What is the status of my event? What does each event status mean? Why can't I participate in this event?
You can see the event status in the top right corner of your screen when inside the event.
Status | Description |
---|---|
Draft | The event is being edited. |
Preview | Buyers can choose to establish a period before the event opens, allowing suppliers to view the content in advance. However, they will not be able to respond until the event reaches open status. |
Open | The event is open for participant responses. Buyers can edit, cancel, pause, or close it. |
Review Responses | The event has closed for responses and is pending the buyer awarding selections. Buyers can reopen or edit the event. |
Paused | The buyer paused the event while it was open, allowing them to make any necessary edits. |
Completed | The event is completed. Buyers can no longer reopen or edit it. The completed state marks the end point of events that have run their course normally. |
Canceled | Buyers can choose to cancel an event at any point after it has been published. Canceling an event bypasses all the other statuses and immediately terminates it. The canceled state indicates that the buyer has called off the event. |
Only the buyer can change the event status.
For more information on event statuses in Guided Sourcing user interface for buyers, see: What are the event statuses in Guided Sourcing?
The Home dashboard queries the event database every six hours and displays the events created over the last three months, six months, or year, depending on the amount of events the buyer has created.
The My Documents content item displays a maximum of 20 events (RFI/RFP/Auction/Survey) and a maximum of 50 projects (Sourcing/Contracts/SPM).
