What is the behavior of changing the password and e-mail ID on the SAP Integration Suite, managed gateway for spend management and SAP Business Network for P users?
Follow the steps below to change the e-mail or password on the SAP Integration Suite, managed gateway for spend management and SAP Business Network for the P user:
You may sign in to SAP Integration Suite, managed gateway for spend management and SAP Business Network from Ariba Applications
Note:
Only for Buyers: Once you update the p-user password, the new password must be updated in the SM59 interface in the ERP (for IDOC) and the interfaces setup program must be triggered from SPRO > Integration with other SAP Components > SAP Integration Suite, managed gateway for spend management and SAP Business Network > Choose Product (SAP Business Network/Ariba Procurement Integration/Ariba Strategic Sourcing Suite Integration) > General Settings > Set up interface > Configure setup interface to send messages > Select All the Outbound Interfaces and execute the report.
This will automatically update the P-user password across all SOAMANGER interfaces. Please check with your Ariba Integration or SAP Basis consultant to perform this activity.
There is no need to reset the password in certain period of time.
