# Error: "Quality Notification document contains invalid QNCode[domain='type']"

## Symptom

When we create a Quality Notification (QN) with custom QN code, the document is failing in SAP Integration Suite, managed gateway for spend management and SAP Business Network with below error:

“SAP Business Network Response is :"Bad Request" and Error Code:"400" and Error Code Response: "Error: Quality Notification document contains invalid QNCode\[domain='type'\] with codeGroup='Z1' and code='Z1'. Please contact support with the Error Reference Number: ANERR-80000000000000001759364822 for more details. Suggested Action : Document Failed in SAP Business Network.For further assistance, please contact Ariba Support with the code mentioned in Response.Managed Gateway for Spend&Network Support Error Code : CIG-PLT-00644”

## Cause

Even though the QN code was loaded it was not enabled, hence AN was not allowing the QN document to be processed.

## Resolution

Even though the QN Code exists in Ariba, it is not enabled. Follow steps bellow to enable it:

1. Log in to buyer SAP Business Network account
2. Go to **Quality** tab
3. Click on the settings icon on the top right corner
4. Check mark next to QN code should be checked
