# What information do I need to provide for an XSLT mapping customization in Managed Gateway for Spend&Network?

## Symptom

I am using the Managed Gateway for Spend&Network in order to integrate my SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA with SAP Ariba Applications (e.g. SAP Business Network, SAP Ariba Buying and Invoicing, SAP Ariba Sourcing and Supplier Management, etc). I realized the Managed Gateway for Spend&Network out-of-the-box standard mappings do not meet my business requirements.

I would like to know if it is possible to extend or change the out-of-the-box mapping logic for Managed Gateway for Spend&Network and what is the required information I should provide to achieve that.

## Resolution

You can create Managed Gateway for Spend&Network custom mappings at your end using the Managed Gateway for Spend&Network Mapping Tool. However, for known limitations which cannot be accomplished by the Managed Gateway for Spend&Network Mapping Tool, you can request a formal XSLT mapping change by submitting an SAP Case along with the following details:

- The reason why the desired mapping could not be achieved by the mapping tool.
- The original preprocess payload that the source system sends to Managed Gateway for Spend&Network.
- The current outbound payload that Managed Gateway for Spend&Network send to the target system.
- The desired final outbound payload after XSLT mapping applied (i.e. how it should look after the custom mapping).
- The mapping sheet template information with the path information and mapping rules/logic.
- The Managed Gateway for Spend&Network Add-on version of all affected systems.

After you have gathered all of the above required details, please create an SAP Case and include all of these information.
