Why do I see both SM Admin and SM Administration under manage in my site?

You would see both SM Admin and SM Administration under manage if your site is suite-integrated and is enabled with both Guided Buying (GB) and SAP Ariba Supplier Lifecycle and Performance (SLP) or SAP Ariba Supplier Information and Performance Management (New Architecture) solutions. If the site is not suite-integrated and you have only one among the earlier listed solutions, either SM Admin or SM Administration appear to you.

SM Admin is an option tied to permissions related to Guided Buying solution and SM Administration is an option tied to Supplier Management solution.

You can either choose SM Admin or SM Administration to access the administration area for supplier management and they would function the same way.

SM Administration option will also be available in sites currently migrating their SAP Ariba Supplier Information and Performance Management (Classic Architecture) data to the Unified Vendor Model using the Migration mode feature.
