In a Combined Spend Workspace, why did Total Approved Amount and Available Amount not update the new amount correctly after approval?

In a Combined Spend Workspace, why did the Total Approved Amount and Available Amount not update with the new amount correctly after Proposed Contract Amount, or Proposed Incremental Amount for Approval was fully approved?

Answer

If the approval task is associated to a contract folder or document, rather than associated to the Contract Workspace itself, then from the approval task under Advanced Task Details, confirm that Update approved amount in parent workspace is checked-off . This setting is only visible from the contract's template.
