How do I enable the SAP Ariba Contracts integration with SAP ERP?
These actions apply only to the SAP Ariba side of the integration, including SAP Ariba Sourcing and SAP Business Network. For actions required on the SAP side, refer to the following SAP Help Portal topic: SAP Integration Suite, managed gateway for spend management and SAP Business Network configuration guide.
Use the following procedure to configure the SAP Ariba portion of the integration:
- In your SAP Business Network Buyer account
- Create end points for SAP Ariba Contracts and your ERP system (external system) and configure document routing for ContractRequest and ContractStatusUpdateRequest
- In your SAP Ariba Sourcing site
- Use Intelligent Configuration Manager to enable the site parameter Application.ACM.ContractLineItemsDocument.Enabled
- Enabling this parameter allows you to complete the following actions in your site:
- Access the Contract Line Item Templates project in the site's Templates project
- Add a contract line items document (CLID) document from the Documents tab of contract workspace projects

- If it's not already configured, set up your external system as a source for master data
- Import your master data from your external system (SAP ERP).
