Ariba Integration Toolkit (ITK), how can I set the Customer Encryption Key?
Question

How to set the Customer Encrypted Key during the Integration Toolkit (ITK) installation process.

Answer

1) Use the encyptcustomerkey.bat <options_file_name>.bat script, which is located in the ITK folder.

2) Create a 24-character string (no more, no less) in the ITK itself by running the encryptcustomerkey.bat <options_file_name>.bat script.

3) This can be any 24-character string (ex: testcustomerkey123456789). It’s not set anywhere but in this one step. The encrypted string that results is copied from the command line, entered in a text file, and saved. The directory to this file will be set in encryptionKeyPath. This will be used to encrypt the shared secret.

4) You’ll, then, save the file, run the encryptstring.bat <options_file_name>.bat command, and enter the shared secret set within the site. The encrypted string that results is entered in a text file and saved. The directory to this file will be set in integrationPasswordKeyPath.
