What is a trading relationship?

A trading relationship is a link between your supplier account and your customer's account on the SAP Business Network. It allows for the transfer of documents such as purchase orders and invoices between you and your customer.

If you do not have a trading relationship with a customer, you will not be able to invoice for that customer or complete any related actions.

Wat is een handelsrelatie?

Een handelsrelatie is een koppeling tussen uw leveranciersaccount en het account van uw klant op Ariba Network. Dit maakt het mogelijk om documenten zoals inkooporders en facturen te verzenden tussen u en uw klant.

Als u geen handelsrelatie hebt met een klant, kunt u voor die klant geen facturen verzenden of gerelateerde acties uitvoeren.

Als u een handelsrelatie met een klant wilt aangaan op Ariba Network, geeft u uw Ariba Network-ID (AN-ID) door aan de klant. Deze ID vindt u door te klikken op de [initialen van de gebruiker] in de rechterbovenhoek van de toepassing.  Hiermee kan uw klant uw bedrijf toevoegen als handelspartner en u een verzoek tot handelsrelatie sturen.

Als u een relatie met uw klant bent aangegaan, kunt u inkooporders ontvangen en factureren die de klant naar u stuurt.

Er is een handelsrelatie nodig om zaken met uw klant te kunnen doen. De handelsrelatie is vereist voor Enterprise-accounts en voor standaardaccounts.

A trading relationship will be required to transact with your customer on both Enterprise and Standard Accounts.

If you would like current or future trading relationships to be Automatically accepted, please ensure that this preference is turned on at the top of the page.

To set your account to manually review all relationships, follow these steps:

1. Click on Advanced View on the right.
2. From the customer relationships page, click on the Current Relationships tab.
3. Select Manually review all relationship requests and click the Update button.
4. All future relationships will need to be reviewed and will wait in the Pending section of your account.
