# What is the maximum file size for attachments on Sourcing Events?

## Symptom

- What is the maximum file size for attachments when replying a Event/Posting a bid?
- What is the maximum file size for attachments when creating an attachment from Desktop Content?
- Error The file \<file name> exceeds the file size limit of 100MB;

## Resolution

The maximum size of a file you can upload to each response field or on an Attachment Content in an event is 100 MB. This value is not subject of change as of January 2024.

**Additional Information**

If your file is larger than 100 MB or if you have multiple files to upload for one response field, you can [add them to a ZIP file](https://support.ariba.com/item/view/153360) to save space.
