# How do I attach multiple files when responding to a question in an event or questionnaire?

How do I attach multiple files when responding to a question in an event or questionnaire?

**Answer**

To add multiple attachments (if permitted):

1. Click ![](https://support.ariba.com/images_RTE/1509055dea1d37aa078Additional%20comment.png) to the right of the answer box, which brings you to the **Add/Edit Comment** page.
2. Enter information in the **Comment** field.  
     
   **Note:** Comments are required, even if you only want to attach a file. Typically, the title of the file is acceptable.
3. Click **Attach a file**.
4. Click **Choose File** to locate the file on your computer.
5. The file name appears after it is successfully attached.
6. Click **OK**.  
     
   **Note:** The ![](https://knowledge.ariba.com/ASP/RTE/image_files/image903825990992065804_59427.png) indicates that you added a comment and attachment.
7. To add another attachment, click ![](https://knowledge.ariba.com/ASP/RTE/image_files/image2717036344083403166_86571.png) again.
8. Click **Add**.

**Additional Information**

The event owner must configure the question to let you attach more than one file.

If the event owner does not permit multiple attachments for a question, you can [add all the attachment files to a ZIP (compressed) file](https://support.ariba.com/item/view/153360) and attach it to your response to the event question.
