On the dashboard, why does the My Documents portlet display a different Status than my workspace/project?

The field displaying in the My Documents tab is Status, while the status of a contract workspace/sourcing project is Contract/Project Status. The My Documents portlet displays documents your user owns across all document types in Ariba (for example, document, project, template, workspace, etc.). The Status field is what is common between all those types and the possible options are: 

• Active
• Complete
• Not Created
• Inactive

In relation to contract workspaces, here are common Contract/Project Status options and how they correspond with Status:

• Active - Published, Expired, Pending, On-Hold, Draft, or Draft Amendment
• Complete - Closed
