# Error: "There has been an issue connecting to the Sourcing Server. Please try to connect to the service later"

## Symptom

Error: "There has been an issue connecting to the Sourcing Server. Please try to connect to the service later", while migrating to the cloud.

## Cause

The below steps might customer and supplier have followed for the above cause:

1. Buyer created a private supplier account.
2. Sent **Password Reset** email to supplier.
3. Supplier clicked on the link in the email they received.
4. On the Welcome page, click **Continue**.
5. Received the above error message.

The problem is an incorrect supplier, private user id. The user id was created by importing third-party data which ends up in a space in between the user id.

## Resolution

1. Deactivate the problematic supplier account because you cannot modify the user name once it is created.
2. Create a new id for user without a space and without any special characters.
3. Send the password reset email. Now, the supplier can migrate successfully.
