What is the meaning of active/inactive contract statuses?
If the Contract Status is Active, then it is visible in User Interface (UI, whatever you see on the screen). When you delete a Contract Workspace, then, the status of the contract becomes Inactive and it is no longer visible in the UI. Inactive status is updated in the database for deleted projects.
How can a Closed contract be Active?
Active means the Contract Workspace is visible in the UI, It can be in various statuses like Draft, Pending, Published, Expired, On Hold, Closed, etc.
How can we see a difference between Closed contracts that expired and Closed contracts that were manually closed?
- To identify the difference between these kind of contracts, please check the Expiration Date in the closed contract.
- Another thing you can check is the Last Modified date (with Closed status) from the History tab of the contract and compare it with the Expiration Date.
By comparing the Last Modified date and Expiration Date, you can identify how the contract closed.
