How do I set/update shared secret for cXML Integration on SAP Business Network as Supplier?
Resolution
To set/update your shared secret:
- From the home page, click [User Initials] > Settings > Electronic Order Routing
- Click the Configure cXML (native) integration
- Under Authentication Method, choose Shared Secret from the list
- Enter your desired shared secret value in the New Shared Secret and Confirm Shared Secret fields
- If you are updating the shared secret you will need to enter the Current Shared Secret field before updating the New Shared Secret field.
- Click Save > Done
Please note the following:
- Setting a shared secret in your production account does not automatically apply it to your test account. You must repeat the same steps separately in the test account.
- The shared secret for the test account must be different from the one used in the production account. If the same value is used for both, the system will display the following error:! Must be different from production account entry.
- If you do not remember your Current Shared Secret and need to reset it, please contact SAP Support for assistance.
